Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Government policies play a crucial role in shaping the economic, social, and political landscape of a nation. However, the success of these policies depends not only on their design and implementation but also on how effectively they are communicated to the public. Corporate communication within government institutions helps ensure that policies are clearly articulated, understood, and supported by the public. In Obi Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, the communication of government policies often faces challenges due to poor public awareness, misinformation, and lack of engagement.
